Does Chamomile Tea Actually Make You Sleepy?

Does Chamomile Tea Actually Make You Sleepy?

Chamomile is an incredible plant. Not only is it super pretty, but drinking it also comes with a wide variety of benefits! When reading the research papers I was shocked; it's almost as if this little flower helped with *everything*! On top of that, it's actually really tasty. Mother Earth did an amazing job!

One of the most important properties of Chamomile is it's ability to put you to sleep in a matter of minutes. Many people don't realise just how good it is! I mean, just look at this: A study published in the Journal of Advanced Nursing in 2015 examined 80 women with poor sleep quality who had recently given birth. Those who drank chamomile tea had much, much better sleep!

Incorporating chamomile into your night-time routine might be just the thing you were looking for. Drinking a cup 30-45 minutes before bed is plenty of time for your body to metabolise apigenin, the sedative substance present in chamomile and allow you to achieve one of the best, most comfortable nights you've ever had!

Sure, there are other great plants like valerian root or lavender, but nothing comes close when it comes to the flavour of chamomile. It's soft, soothing... It's like freshly washed sheets in a cup - a taste of comfort and relaxation. But hey, *I am* a regular chamomile drinker, so I might be a bit biased.

If you're looking for a new and exciting chamomile experience, we might have something just right in our shop. Whether you're an advanced herbal tea drinker or a complete newbie, it's a whole new world to explore!
